GridFather Is Now in Heavy Testing

Stability, telemetry accuracy, and reliable race awareness come before wider early access.

GridFather is now in heavy testing across the first supported sims: Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and Le Mans Ultimate. That matters because the product is not just a landing page, a set of clips, or a voice pack. GridFather has to read live race context, understand what matters, decide when to speak, and stay quiet when the driver needs focus. The current phase is about proving that foundation under real driving conditions.

The priority right now is stability. We are testing telemetry reads, shared memory behavior, race state changes, session transitions, timing gaps, fuel windows, pit events, traffic, flags, and pressure from nearby cars. A race engineer that speaks at the wrong time is worse than no engineer at all, so voice timing is being treated as a core product problem, not a cosmetic detail. The goal is short, useful calls that land before the next decision point.

This also means we are being careful with feature expansion. It is tempting to add every requested sim, every possible voice mode, and every coaching idea immediately. That is not the right order. The first version needs to feel reliable in the sims where we can test deeply. If the AI race engineer cannot be trusted during a battle, a pit window, or a messy stint, then adding more menus does not help the driver.

Early access will open in batches for the same reason. Smaller groups let us watch behavior, collect feedback, fix rough edges, and avoid overwhelming the product while the foundation is still being hardened. Drivers joining early are helping shape how GridFather talks, when it talks, what it notices, and what it should ignore.

Other games are already on the roadmap, but AC, ACC, and LMU are the first proving ground. Once the core loop is stable - telemetry in, race context understood, useful decision out - we can expand with a much stronger base. If you joined the waitlist early, thank you. The grid is forming, and the next step is making sure the voice in your ear is actually worth listening to.
